Lee qualified as a Solicitor in 1998. He worked in private practice for 12 years, specialising in Commercial Real Estate and acting for owners of national leasehold commercial property portfolios.
In 2010, Lee left private practice and set up an in-house legal team at the Shoe Zone Group of companies as their General Counsel.
Lee has been a lecturer since 2018 when he joined De Montfort’s Law School. He has developed, written and delivered various modules at both undergraduate and post graduate level including Property Law & Practice, Commercial Property, Solicitors Accounts and Equity & Trusts.
One of Lee’s notable achievements was as part of a team who developed and delivered the Legal Practice Course to cohorts of Trinidadian students.
Lee is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and also a qualified mediator.
One is Lee’s passions is to develop the employability of law students. To that end, he has created a number of partnerships and initiatives between the Law School and the legal industry, the purpose of which is to introduce ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ·’s talented law students to potential employers.
